About the position of a Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you are part of a small Maintenance team and you ensure that all technical assets, installations and tools remain safe, reliable and compliant with applicable standards

As a Maintenance Technician, you perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on a wide range of technical installations and equipment. You work according to established maintenance schedules and safety procedures, ensuring continuity and reliability of the technical infrastructure.

Your responsibilities include:

• Performing preventive maintenance and resolving malfunctions on technical assets such as cranes, forklifts, power supplies, industrial halls, lighting, tools, cables and installations
• Identifying (future) maintenance needs and reporting deviations or failures
• Preparing and executing maintenance activities safely and efficiently
  Checking materials, tools and installations for correctness, completeness and safety
• Performing inspections and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations
• Carrying out administrative registration of maintenance activities and resolved failures
• Actively contributing to improvements in maintenance methods, processes and reliability
• Working in accordance with all safety rules, procedures and legal requirements
• Provide technical input by identifying recurring issues and sharing insights that help refine maintenance standards and procedures

Depending on experience and level (A or B), you may:

• Support the preparation of maintenance planning and schedules
• Act as a technical point of contact for colleagues
• Support and guide the Maintenance Technicians
• Managing projects independently
• Assist the Department Manager Maintenance with technical input and optimization initiatives

You are/ have:

• MBO work and thinking level;

• Eager to learn and you are proactive;

• You consider compliancy and getting the job done as important;

• 5 years of relevant experience in a technical environment;

• Desired: VCA full, Forklift/ cherrypicker and working on height certificates

• Desired: NEN-3140 qualified/competent person

• Good command of English (Dutch is an advantage)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• EU passport or valid work permit for the Netherlands
